oil change help

oil change help
I am planning a trip that will be approx. 1400 miles of driving. I put about 3200 miles on my S since my last oil change, including a 3000 mile journey from Detroit to Pheonix. Would it be in my best interest to get my oil changed before this next trip?

Do you use the 3,750 'extreme' or 7,500 'regular' maintenance interval?
When i drove across the country, I changed my oil when i hit the right mileage interval..that just happened to be in Nashville
Took 30 minutes at the Honda dealer and cost maybe $30. Also got a free carwash that helped a lot with the bugs.
