I've been a VTEC owner for many years now and I've never had a problem with excesive oil consumption. However a few months ago my engine suffered engine damaged due to running low on oil. It had been 3000 miles since my last oil change and my car only had 1.5 quarts left on the engine. Has anyone been experiencing this type of oil consumption? I've never seen a car use up so much oil in such a short amount of time.

 

If you are talking about the S2000 then that sounds right. The F20c is known to consume oil especially when VTEC'ing.

I hope your engine didn't suffer too much damage.

 

@ 17,000 miles right now I notice that my engine oil will drop 1 "X" every 1000 miles or so.
