I hope some of the younger S2K drivers see this and think about it. Triple digits used to be no big deal when I was younger, but now I realise the potential and Sh*t! I'd rather slow down and live to drive another day.

Whats interesting about your point is how the number of SUVs has gone up lately. Also, the number of SUVs driven by people who aren't paying attention to the road.

But I guess if you think about it, what car ARE you going to be safe in? I mean even most SUVs arent that safe for impact protection, so I cant say I agree with the "if you cant beat them, join them" theory.

Pretty much looks like its all a function of mass, and that if you get hit by something with a lot of mass at a fair rate of speed, it wouldnt really matter if you were in the S2000 or a Suburban.

I'd really like to think that the people in these cars were hit by an object like an SUV that was really going pretty fast, and that it wasnt some ignorant fool in his SUV that was only going 40. If thats what 40mph looks like against the side of an S2000, I think we are all in trouble.

I saw this car today, made me a bit sick to my stomach. There was a passenger in it, they cut the seat belt to extracate the body. I assume they died on impact, there was no blood. Prolene, do you bleed if your dead?

Parts are not available yet, but will let you know when they are.

The car was Blk/Blk, MY2000, #1659, and was from the Northwest US.

Drive safely please, seeing that really pissed me off. Life is too precious to risk like that.

Look at the tread depth. they are like new!!!

Either they just got new tires, or this car
had almost no miles on it.??

Shows what happens when you lose control. Everyone should print out this picture and look at it before they start that street race! Racing is for the track, not the road.

Bobway,

When you are dead, your body will not excrete too much blood because the heart stopped beating.

Now if you were in the process of dying, and you have some wounds...that's when the blood flows out.

Thats what I was thinking, cause I saw a girl killed by lightning once and when her face hit the ground, it was cut pretty badly, but no bleeding.

BTW, the airbags did not deploy. The steering wheel was pushed forward on the bottom, and the entire column was shifted.

No windscreens on either one and they're thinking they will build one motor and use the other for parts, so engines aren't for sale at this point.
