I ordered the top in Feb after seeing it on the Japan website...I have Black/Black too, in fact I JUST got the car 3-15-01 but still no top. Changes in wire harness in car for 2001 (interestingly a change in the service recommendations)
I do not need the kit (2001) but the top is List $3000.00 and Dealer Net $2250.00.
I paid 10% off for the top ($2700.00) and like I said STILL waiting! In the NEW 2001 S2000 Service manual there is a whole new section on the Hard Top and adjustments of it when installing... how to replace glass, headliner, etc.!
It was shipped but not here in Atlanta yet...
So let me know how yours goes, if I get mine in time I will drive to S2KDays with it on!
Interest to see any photo's anyone has but I am excited to get it even in Atlanta where I will use 1 month a year!
101 miles total now from 3.7 this weekend with the top down!

 

I ordered mine on Feb 1st. and received it a week ago. I'm guessing you'll have your top soon if it's coming from American Honda and not Japan.
