paint or not to paint rear black piece?

how to paint that black strip? just simply spray the paint? or.... the whole rear bumper must be removed?? I wish to paint mine, but don't know how.

you gotta take it into a professional painter... if you believe you can do it yourself, get some paint, mask off the bumper except the black piece and paint...

It depends how good of a painter you are. I taped mine off sanded it down, put 10 light coats of silver then 6 light coats of clear. If you don't have a quality spray paint that matches perfect or doubt your spray skills take it to a paint shop, they should be able to do it for a reasonable price.

Take it to a good body shop to do it right. Mine was blended up the bumper and clear coated. They also added flex to it so it wouldn't crack.

SimonS2k found some silver tape that matched his sebring perfectly and went the cheap route. Looks pretty good.
