Default Passanger door unlock switch

I think it's a pain in the butt to unlock the passenger door when sitting in the drivers seat. I ran across an old thread by Xviper and Modifry that described how to install a passenger door unlock switch. It took less than $3 and about 30 minutes. Works like a charm.

Go to Under the hood, FAQs, DIYs & Maint. Drop down to the topic..."Auxillary Passenger Door Unlock. You'll find the instructions, including pictures, there. The short story is to locate the Black connector that is behind the radio control on the left of the dash. It is an 18 pin connector. There is a white wire near the middle of the connector. It is between a black / white wire and a yellow one. Ground that white wire for 2 or 3 seconds and the passenger door will unlock. Xviper has a picture where he mounted his switch. I mounted a switch in the same location. NOTE... Modifry advises there is another white wire on the end of the connector. Leave that one alone. It has 12 volts to it.
