That pesky maintenance required light
Does anyone out there know or remember how you really turn off the maintenance required light? I've tried the procedure in the manual and it doesn't work - at least not for me.
I broke down once several months (and oil changes ago) and called the local dealership and their method worked. I just can't remember the procedure.
I realize I could call them again but my pride has so far kept me from it. It really doesn't bother me too much anymore but I'm afraid the bulb may burn out.
Thanks

don't you hold in the reset button and then turn the key to on (but not start the car).... continue holding in that button for another 10 seconds..??
i think that is how... . i am sure the FAQ section of this website will tell you the right way my way didn't work.

Yeah-
That works on the maintenance required light problem. The 2000 manual is a little vague on the procedure. Sorry if I'm the cause of all the patronizing postings related to this issue. Just looking for help.
