Say what you want about Detroit iron but, please take it easy on the Mac.
Our marvelous US Supreme Court gave the windows(UGI format)/mouse away to PC Land from the original Mac years ago and just recently have given Slick Willie(not Bill) and Co. the bank again. PC's would still be in DOS land if not for our inane judiciary system.

None of you guys are on the Supreme Court are you??
(If you are how did you get smart enough to buy an S2K?)

Dude,
A couple thoughts from an average idiot Joe who owns an American sports car. Pay attention because I officially represent the 97% of the population is stupid, ignorant, blind, & dumb.

I can't believe you managed to cram all that ignorance, elitist attitude, poor spelling, and low self esteem into one post. I am truly amazed. While reading your post, the one thing that amazed me is... how do you afford your S2K? The reason why I say that is that the people who pay for it themselves, have to be educated with a decent paying job. I can't imagine someone like you having the ability to get and keep a job good enough to afford your S2K with what you posted. This all goes out the window of Mom and Dad foot the bill I guess. My point is that 99.99999% of the people here are highly educated, and more than most have an open, intelligent mind as evidenced in the replies to your post. You don't seem to posses that quality.

Anywho, open your eyes a bit and maybe you'll recognize the fact that there are more than 52 flavors out there for the more than 52 flavors of people. I like S2Ks, respect the engineering, styling, and technology that went into it. I liked going out in it with my roommate and am still amazed at the looks it gets on the road. I would never own one because it's not my style. Does that make it bad? Nope. Just not what I want. I have a 97 Z28 and can't imagine not driving it everyday. I respect the engineering, styling, and technology in my car as well. What engineering, what technology you ask? The fact that for less than what you paid for your S2K, I can eat your lunch on any track shows me that GM has built a decent performance platform. The fact that I make over 400 hp and still pass the roller emissions testing in NJ tells me that GM ENGINEERED a quality engine and engine control management system. The fact that you really have no room to modify or improve the performance of your car (without a power adder) tells me that Honda did a phenomenal job in turning out the absolute best car/motor they could. The point is that if you take the blinders off maybe you'd see some good in all that American crap that you so decidedly hate.

Chris

PS Oh yeah... I know it can be hard to navigate the internet with your head up your ass so here's a link to the TSBs on your car. Just in case you can't remember when the last time Honda had a recall.

Kenny,
I can't believe I'm talking to you this way but you seem to need a Dad. Son, in one post you made yourself guilty of every accusation you made about others. Jealousy is alway ugly and seldom helpful. In this case, it seems to have bound up your thought processes.

At this point in your life, you can continue to be a bigot (race, skin, cars, economic status, anything) or you can decide not to be a bigot. Beware, though, there is no in-between. Losing all of your bigotries will take some soul-searching. At times you'll feel like an idiot when you realize you've lapsed. It will, though, have a very fulfilling reward.

Don't wait until you are too old and your only friends are other bigots. I'm guessing that's a lonely way to end up.

No, we would nod our heads in agreement. The Corvette Z06 is clearly superior to any Porsche near its price range (even if you ignore Porsche's ripoff option packages).

The JD Power's Initial Quality Survey results were posted a few days ago. There were a ton of US-owned brands in the top half of the results (including Cadillac, Buick, Ford, Lincoln, Olds, etc.). There were a ton of import brands in the bottom half (Mazda, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Volvo, etc.). No fair person can say "imports" are better than "domestics". Since the defect rates vary widely by model, it probably isn't even fair to compare Ford vs. Honda, because the Mustang may be a great car while the Odyssey may suck.

And, hey: Chrysler/Dodge/Eagle/Jeep/Plymouth are at the bottom of the pile. Do you know who owns that company? Hint: they are German, not American.
