Pitted Windshield
OEM is PPG I think - you have two glass companies - PPG and Safelite. Obviously PPG isn't so great as its pitted, and most insurance companies go with Safelite since its a little cheaper.
Another option is putting laminate on the new glass when you get it installed. The film will help with the pitting from small objects.

I insisted on OEM glass when I replaced the S2000 window after a rock attack.
I ordered the window through my dealer, and once in the city it was shipped directly to the body shop doing the work.
It was important for me to have OEM glass with the little Honda logo and markings.
I may have paid a bit more, but my dealer gave me a discount and I'm happy I spent the time to get it done this way.

I don't think there is any good glass for an S2000 - they all pit pretty easily dur to the upright design.
Laminate is clear and invisible, and you can peel it off once it gets torn up, but I don't know how long it lasts or what it costs. You can probably get it at the glass place or any place that does 3M bras.

Since I'm in this thread, Brandon.
Where did you get your glass replaced?
Mine is getting to that point from all the cinder over the years.

I don't really think it matters where you get it done as long as they use OEM glass and have a gaurentee.
The S2000 got its last glass from Mark's Auto Body in Redmond. I am not sure if they did it themselves or they sent it to someone
Probably the latter

Yeah, in Charlotte, we've used companies like Safelite Auto Glass...
Call around in your area and ask for prices and tell them without insurance.
Bear in mind they'll be replacing the black weatherstrip around your windshield too.
And yes, those prices included installation.
