I've been wondering if there was a more luxurious or just nicer replacement for the center plastic plate for the AP2. The leather center console that Muz offers doesn't affect AP2s or at least the 06 because it's already leather. So...perhaps someone makes a leather bounded plastic cover? I've seen a carbon fiber one that looked like crap.

well, if no one has anythi to say about this subject, I have a question that may need your opinions.

I was thinking, since there's no replacements out there, to spray pain the center plastic console black to match the rest of my black interior. That way, it might not look cheap, and hopefully not more cheap. It would be a semi-glossy paint. Also, because it's an AP2, it has that extra plastic surrounding the shift knob.


I wanted to switch the rough U shaped plastic piece to a rough rubber piece (i have a GPW), so you can place your cell phone or anything small there and it won't slide off.
