Default Police Harrassment

I am sick and tired of the police driving behind me when I am in my Honda's. Ever since the Fast and the Furious came out, I am constantly harassed by the police. My 94 Civic Coupe is 100% stock, except for the radio, and I am treated like a hostage in my own car I've had experiences where the police were sitting in the middle of the freeway, and after I drive by, they left the median and followed me to my exit for no apparent reason. Sometimes when I drive by a patrol car, they roll down their window's to listen to my exhast. I got a ticket for playing my music too loud (with my stock speaker). The office told me that he could hear my radio 20 feet from my car. I can her a cell phone from 20 feet away when it's on speaker phone! I've been harrassed for having my university's back tag on my car. The offiicer stopped me and told me that it was blocking the license plate. But the back tag was no larger than dealer tags that are sometimes used on cars. I've even got a ticket for driving too close to the person in front of me! This harassment has got to stop

I'm assuming that Honda= purple car. I think that the Cavilers and Neon's are getting worse than the Civic's.

Now that some states make it illegal for police to profiling (PEOPLE) when polling over cars, perhaps they should make it also illegal to profiling ( CARS ).

Last summer I had a police car follow me through a couple miles of winding suburban roads. I slowed down to EXACTLY 25 mph, used my turn signals, etc -- nothing out of the ordinary.
I think he was just bored and maybe curious about my car.
BTW, I run a stock exhaust. He finally turned off, but I really wanted to find a Dunkin' Donuts and have him follow me into the parking lot --

Was driving my '03 up my mom's street yesterday...with mom in passenger seat... Five cops at corner busting some poor kid who was making bombs or something and testing in his back yard...one of the heat says to me, "Hey, nice car!"

How'zat for harassment?! Why, I oughta'...

I don't know. I'm never tailed by the police. I got one speeding ticket about 3 years ago and was able to talk my way out of another last year. I've never been harassed by traffic police.

I guess age does have its advantages!

You can find many examples of why you are scrutinized by the police here.
