And I thought mine just fixed itself after 3 months!
No problems in months now... I think I can remember holding the switch a little too long more than once. LOL

Same here, the fix was only temporary so I ordered an Autoloc module from emc2.

BTW, Jetpuke, thanks for stealing my Avatar. Apparently there are people even less creative then I am...

Damn, you da man. I've had this problem for over a year and this fixed it right up. Glad now that I didn't take it in to the dealership...

I crossed my fingers that I'd be immune to the problem (MY02, almost 1yo), and the _DAY AFTER_ reading this thread my driver side auto-down stopped working.

I did notice that after rolling it up/down a couple times it resumed working fine.

The car sat for a month while I was on vacation, but it worked fine when I got back. A few days later it stopped working. If weather matters, its been 90-100^F.

I have found that this fix was only temporary too.

It probably will not fix it. On mine neither auto down worked, after the procedure, only the windows auto-down using the window button works and the auto-down with the top activation does not.

Why does the window do that? Is it just a problem all s2000 have? I recently came back from school and found the same problem after not driving it daily like i use to...anyways i guess the temporary fix is better than nothing...thanx for the insight
