Possible or not?
I'm gonna go with boost for the easy route, Comptech or Vortech SC, ~$5k. Another possible option is gears and LOTS of practice at perfect launches, that may get you an occasional mid 13 but it won't be consistant. Then again what do I know, I bought the S for auto-xing. There are so many cars better suited for drag racing than the S. Not saying you can't do it, there are many people here that do, and have fun doing it. <-most important part!
it's gonna be hard with N/A.
I'd go the following route:
Get ITB's. That will give you the biggest gain with the right tuning. Also, you'll have to add on a stand alone ECU.
Ditch all the extra weight:
-washer fluid
-spare
-carpet
-passenger seat
-A/C
Buy gears (probably help the most). Something on the low end that will launch the car. You're not worried about top speed here.
Clutch and flywheel of course.
Header, and single outlet exhaust.
Maybe buy a 2.2 or 2.3 stroker kit.
That should do it. I think all together you're looking at 15k just for the parts.
