yes....please keep posted with photos.....you might even want to start a new thread as a review of the product. Just for future references.

Definitely if you can. My top for my '01 is starting to show wear now and I'm considering upgrading to a glass back and soft top inner cover.

I found these tops from cabrio world on Ebay and bought one last week off of Ebay for $700 shipped before seeing this thread. Once it gets here Im going to take a day (or 2) off of work to install it. Im glad to hear it comes with almost everything and looks good out of box. Same from what I have heard from another S owner who is installing his this week although he is not on this board.

Well today I just got the frame instruction pamphlet in the mail. It is really well done, even has some pics. Should make a great addition to the already great .pdf file in circulation, just in case anyone has any problems Here's the scans

I will also be including these scans, as well as more pictures of the top itself and the installation in a seperate trhead which will serve as a review, and another resource for those wanting to do the swap.

also, if anyone could, maybe host these scans or maybe compile them into a pdf, so that people can access them once imageshack deletes em?

Hey guys, for what it's worth I've done eight to ten of these installs now and I don't replace the EPT. No reported problems with leaking after several years.

The rivets are a stock part and secure the top to the rear rain rail and side weather strip rails. They are easy to work with. Drilling out the existing rivets is probably the hardest part.

As for labor, expect to spend about 10 hours to do the job if it's your first time working with a top.

Also, for anyone who lives in and around the North Texas area I will do the install for $400. You supply the top and I take care of the straps, rivets, and tools. Requires drop off by 8AM (or the night before) and you can pickup anytime after 6PM.

Wow, they copied my install instructions. Not really sure what to think about that...
