I have an '02 top on my MY01. You might need to remove the center two snaps for the tonneau cover (which no one uses anyway) because they interfere with the glass window of the factory '02 top when it is on the '01. Don't know if this conversion has the same problem. Maybe check the window height, see if the glass is the same height.
Incidentally, I wrote up some info on the defroster hookup for the '00, '01 a few years ago when I had another ISP and they never took the site down http://home.covad.net/~floydmah/defroster.html. Take a look at that if you want to wire the defroster. It also has some information on how to wire up a dash-mounted switch.

VERY interested, as I plan on switching to a glass top within the next 6 months (next project). I'm curious/ concerned regarding fit, and I'd probably get it installed professionally- would a Honda dealer be able/willing to do this?

Menlo Honda did mine. It takes a couple of days, but they warranty their work. I haven't had any problems with leakage.

Well I just recieved mine in the mail

packaging was good, tons of bubble wrap.

at first glance, it looks very well made. tight seams, precut holes, everythign is very nice. The material is a little bit off, the fabric has a bit tighter weave than OEM, but looks very nice, a great dark black.

In the package was the top. as well as a care sheet for it, a brochure for robbins tops, and a package containing nylon strabs, elastic, and a ton of rivets, almost everythign needed to install.

one thing I like about this top, that i wasnt expecting, was defroster in the glass. But it had it, so i am happy. It might be a week or two before i can install it, but i will be sure to take plenty of pictures of the top, as well as the install
