Power locks don't unlock in cold weather
I hope some of you can help me. With the cooler weather returning up here in Canada, I've noticed every morning when it's really cool that my doors don't unlock with the remote, I'll have to unlock them with the key. After the car has warmed up, it'll lock and unlock without problems. Any ideas?
I've had no problems with mine down to -35*C. Could be a bad contact that contracts when cold or your lock itself might be sticking in the cold. When you use your key to unlock, does it feel kinda stiff? Try squirting some silicone spray into the key hole.
I also had a problem on another car where the actuator from the solenoid slipped a bit on the rod going to the lock. Every once in a while I would have to hold the inside door lock button "locked" and pressed the remote. This pushed the rod back further into the actuator and the thing worked OK for a while. I didn't feel like taking the door panel off to figure out why it was slipping. If this doesn't work, take it to the dealer, but of course when you get it there, the car will be warmed and you won't be able to duplicate the problem.

I think that's a warranty issue to be fixed by your Honda dealer. It shouldn't have a problem under any sort of weather conditions, it's not feasible to believe otherwise than it is more than just another defective item.
