powerful enough

The S is capable of being fast enough for almost anything.
I'm perplexed sometimes when doing my daily drive to work thru a canyon and finding Nissan Sentra's and such taking the road faster then me.
It might be that I'm being overly careful and maybe have yet built the confidence in how fast I can go and hold the road.
Or maybe there are more on the edge idiots out there that I'm encountering.
Also, maybe the desire for more HP, and higher up market sports cars is tied to dreams. The dream of owning this or that and not that anyone needs it.
A little more off the line get up would be nice.

I'd like to see them put the RDX's turbo engine in the S2000. It's a 2.3L which makes 240hp but the key thing is the 260 lbs of torque. That ought to give the car a nice kick in the pants!!!

My S was fast enough for the first three years I had it, but like everyone has said, you get used to it and it no longer seemed that fast. Love the S and couldn't think of another car I'd want shy of 6 digits, so I made the S faster. After a lot of work, it's finally fast enough .... for now

[QUOTE=Lionheart,Aug 4 2006, 12:30 AM] Yesterday I read a magazine where they tested 3 FAST sportscars. You know what they got? The new Cayman S against the Z4M coup

there was a vid of the great jap drivers in the cayman s, boxster s, nsx, s2000 etc. the s2000 came in not to far behind the boxster.
in terms of the original topic, stock s2000 is quick, but the addition of 4.56 gears made the car much more peppy. i think the car should have came with the higher ratio.
