One of my regrets is selling my E30 M3 in 2003. The thing was quickly turning into a money pit that I couldn't justify as I needed reliable transportation to college. In retrospect I should have kept it as I would've recouped the money spent on repairs and then some by now.

Really at this point, any very low mileage (<30k) S2k will cost about 20 grand+, regardless of year. When I sold my C6, I was taking quite a step down (financially speaking) to get into an S2000. Now clean Vettes are selling about the same as clean S2ks (20-25k).

Obviously someone feels these cars are special. But are these prices crazy?
No I dont S2000 prices are crazy its a highly rated roadster made by one of the best Japanese manufacters to hit U.S shores I hope they keep on being highly valued some still sell for 20-25K I got the s2000 because its a special car in my book. I just wish NSXs were 20k

The availability varies a lot by location. St. Louis area has very few (less than 5) good ones. Even the junkers are listed for 10-15k. Don't know what they actually sell for but most just keep getting listed over and over. Some dealers have good ones for 25k and some dealers just say they have them and don't. That doesn't stop them from listing phantom car. Just shows more demand than supply in midwest so prices up.

At the risk of topic drift, is that car sitting on one of those driveway turntables? Seen them in magazine ads, I find them fascinating and wouldn't mind having one.

No, it's just the design they did with the bricks. It does look like it though, especially with how I unintentionally parked the car perfectly centered on it.

That is quite a deal man, nice find. I picked up my 07 lgp for 21 and some change, 61,xxx miles. Hardtop is the key piece that makes your deal. I love an LGP top, so damn pretty.

I need to have that car in my garage someday. My absolute favorite M3 generation.
