Yeah, sure you would. Now go scamper back to your Beetle and put a fresh flower in the dashboard bud vase.

I park far away from others in all my vehicles
Just because my daily driver is a pickup does not mean I want it looking like crap because of other people's stupidity

Parking is such a way to take up 2-spots is just asking for trouble around here.
Nobody cares if you use one spot way far away, but using 2-spots anyplace is going to cause repercussions.
About the only exception to that are big trucks that take up two spots in length, not width because frankly, they are just too long to fit is a single spot.

I park as close as I can to the curb, so I only have to worry about one car being next to me. I will also park near a nice car if I have no choice.
I always have my car cover in my trunk. My friends give me shit about it, especially when I put it on at their house, but most of them have pine trees over their driveways!! That sap is crucial on the paint and the top!!

If I'm going somewhere with a densely packed parking lot, or I'm otherwise concerned about people damaging the S2000, I take the F250. Which has running boards, and is enormous, and thus seems almost impervious to door dings. Difficult to park though.

I stayed at holiday Inn hotel recently and came out in the morning to see a graze down the complete length of the passanger door I managed to polish a lot of it out but it has still left a scratch about 3 inches long where it has gone down thru the paint to the base coat. People out there just do not give a toss about peoples property any more.

park next to other nice cars. People who take care of their cars aren't going to risk damaging their own cars by damaging yours. Also they are more conscious and have more respect for the cars around them.
