Default Punks...

bashed in my drivers side window this morning. Was at the park with my girl when it happened. Came back to my car to find the mess. My guess is that they were looking for a stereo, and didn't find one. They didn't take anything, luckily there wasn't really anything for them to take. I'm so furious.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows how much it cost to replace one of the windows? I figured not too much, considering the size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Probably took a look at the dash and thought the car didn't have one. That radio door cover is a good idea IMO.

it is a good idea and a nice touch, however looks like it doesn't deter dipshits who don't actually look thru the window first to see if its even worth breaking in to the car. sorry to hear about your misfortune. what a dick!

they probably thought it was the nice fold-away head unit models, but when they opened the cover and saw it was a factory system...they were disappointed.

That is why I rarely close the cover. Better to have them see it than have them wonder if hidden is a magnificent HU.

sorry to hear that man -

you can file a police report and go to your insurance, or go to the dealer for a quote.

I would imagine that if you go to an independent glass shop, you might expect to pay in the range of $150-$225 for a replacement installed. That's based on my experience of a few years ago when it cost me $135 for a window on an Integra.
