Putting top down while moving?
the 06 panel is a bit different it does not just pull off
There is a screw in the center and two plastic clips on each side. You need something small to press in the center and then you can pull them off pretty easily. After these three items are removed you pull straight out, not down. It feels tough at first but will just pop over. It is not nearly as fragile as earlier years so nothing to worry about there. The wire you are looking for is in the same location as earlier years but there are different wires around it. Should be straight forward following the instructions on this site. I pulled the plug instead of cutting. It made me feel better about messing up a brand new car, but if you did cut, you could always just crimp it together later on. Not sure there is a need to ever put it back together as it is out of sight.

I added auto up and auto down to both driver and passenger side window switches
Why does it not come from the factory this way??? It is 20 cents more for the switches
Explain!
[QUOTE=JLUDE,Sep 26 2006, 11:24 AM] Unless AP2's have auto window and top up switches I can't imagine how you manage to steer, push and hold the top up switch and pull and hold BOTH window switches at the same time!
