Putting top down while moving?

the 06 panel is a bit different it does not just pull off

There is a screw in the center and two plastic clips on each side. You need something small to press in the center and then you can pull them off pretty easily. After these three items are removed you pull straight out, not down. It feels tough at first but will just pop over. It is not nearly as fragile as earlier years so nothing to worry about there. The wire you are looking for is in the same location as earlier years but there are different wires around it. Should be straight forward following the instructions on this site. I pulled the plug instead of cutting. It made me feel better about messing up a brand new car, but if you did cut, you could always just crimp it together later on. Not sure there is a need to ever put it back together as it is out of sight.
