Putting up a note on window for would-be-door-dingers
The thing is....that you all are assuming that everybody is sober or mentally stable. If the other driver is ended on pills, they may not even know that they scratched your whole car until the next day when they see it on their car.
Just park your car normal, its just a piece of metal. Being paranoid about it will just drive you crazy. Fix it if it gets dented or scratched lol.

It takes quite a bit of force to ding a car. I think if people were just more careful, we wouldn't have a problem.
10 years ago I restored a Triumph, used it as my daily driver for nine years. Always parked it miles away.
It was while fixing stone or door chip number 50, about 3 years ago I thought, "what the hell" & gave up parking miles away to protect the thing.
I did not get damage any more often since I stopped all that rubbish, & parked it like a normal car.
Then a few months back I got my near pristine S2k, & I PARK IT MILES AWAY.
