question about missing a gear

Default question about missing a gear

well about a month ago i was driving over a highway thats under a lot of cunstrutcion and they patched the roads in some areas that are almost like speed bumps well i hit one of them without seeing it (at night) while i was going from 3rd to 4th but i went 3rd to 2nd i saw the red blink a few times but i quickly pushed the clutch in since then i have had no porblems did i damage anything that might give me a problem down the road ??

you would know it by now, it usually happens quick ( according to all the 4 to 2 shift threads) what a mess. at least you hit a bump, instead of trying to see if your bumper was ahead of a mustang's. don't sweat it, especially if you are under warranty.

almost did that once 2. scary. i know a friend who did that on his 01 and damn the price is hefty.
