I meant least amount of shifts. for stock ap2's you have to shift into 5th as you pass the 1/4. so no matter if you have gears or not, shifting is the key for ap2's that are drag racing. very good info s2000junky. thanks !

Thank you.

Yes very true, Ap2's are a different beast then the Ap1 and gearing choices should differ accordingly.

Cheers

I currently make 225hp 146tq to the wheels. This is aproxemently 30hp and 15tq over stock with an 01 AP1 in mind. With my tire mod of the efective gear ratio of 4.33 its so close to the optimum for my power deliver that its not worth it to me to spend the extra money on the 4.44's
WoW you are one intelligent cookie....I tip my hat to you sir

I started a thread just like this and had NO post..but 90 views LOL

I have 220.3 and i was debating the 4.77, but I continue to read that its best advantage is 0-30.

Its so hard. So I guess I should just get 4.44 ?

I just wanna be quick...NOT fast but quick

SMart cookie indeed!!!!!

So your saying, get the 4.44's because after 30, its gonna catch up and surpass?

So i'm guessing that These are alot faster than stock 4.10's correct? so just racing another stock AP2 i should pulll pretty good and just keep pulling?

SO MUCH INFO! I LOVE IT!
