What are you talking about double clutching for? Double-clutching is an old technique used to synchronize transmission speed to engine speed before engaging a gear (on a downshift). This technique is effectively useless on a syncro-equipped transmission like the S2000's. Rev-matching downshifts and up shifts is all you need to do.
Because it has the same effect of saving the 'poor weak ass' synchro (sarcasm), which is the goal of this gear rowing business, which I disagree with fundamentally. If cars were supposed to have their gears rowed, then why the hell wouldn't every manual box be sequential? Extreme example I know, but you know what I'm getting at. Better to double clutch if you want to sve your synchro, than wear out your transmission rowing every gear at every stop light.

Unless you're good at rev matching, I would suggest not to downshift during a turn.

learn the chassis dynamic, weight shifting and cornering.

which you can hardly accomplish on the street, get some seat time with a instructor, you'll learn more in one afternoon than years driving it on the street, trust me on that one.

it only take one missed step to wrap the rear end around pole, there's quite a few accident by new s2k driver.

I witness an aftermath of a youth driver lifting throttle thru a corner, the rear end swap around so fast the thing was facing traffic after split second. needless to say the back end is gone for good.

esp on the earlier car, there's little nanny(traction, cdv) to correct your "beginner" mistake, practice in a safe environment before you take it anywhere 10/10th on the street
