Default quick question

does anyone know how to reset the cel in the s2k ap2. u press one of the buttons in the tach in a combination or something. and i was wonderering how it is done???????? cause my car makes it go off evey 6k miles or soooo its weird...

Do you mean the maintance req light?? If it is that, then read in your owners manual on how to reset that.

Now if its the check engine light (cel) that is going off, you need to get the codes checked before you try to reset it.

no light is 'weird' they come on for a reason. if its the maint req light, the car thinks its time to change the oil. if its the check engine light, you better pull the code before you try to reset it.

If it's a true 'cel' get the code pulled at an auto parts place and come back here and check it either here:

READ THE OWNERS MANUAL!!! It will tell you how to reset the "Maintenance Required" light.

If you can't distiguish the two...then no need explaining how to reset a true "Check Engine Light"...or "CEL"
