Interesting... Maybe I should try a testpipe since my Comptech drone a bit too much for my taste.

Here is the dyno all the treehuggers hate because it actually shows significant gains with the testpipe. The only difference between the stock car (red) and the modified car (blue) is the testpipe. All other mods were the same.

There was no VAFC tuning that day so ignore that comment at the top of the graph. I was going to tune but decided not to and sold the unit.

The days were different but I can't image that would cause +14 something HP. The conditons were worse on the day that the car pulled 214HP then on the day the stock car pulled 198HP.

nice gains indeed.

My test pipe rattles a lot. Might go by the shop this weekend and have them check it out.

Test pipe really won't make the Invidia any louder, not so you would notice anyways. The damn thing is already really F***ing loud.

lol, you might have gone deaf by now

In the cabin is a bit less "droney" but at WOT, its definatly louder...one of these days I'm going to do a comparison video between invidia + invidia with testpipe before I get my supercharger for everyone to see the difference

FWIW, at the dyno when I just had the cat on, I could stand right behind the car and listen to it rev all the way up without pain in my ears. Now with the testpipe at the same dyno standing in the same area, I cannot listen to the car rev up without having to cover my ears -- it physically hurts which means 120+ db . To compare, I rated the invidia with cat at about 110db at 9k rpms. so +10db approx is a big difference
