Quick Voodoo Shift Question (aligning shift pattern)?
I avoided the use of loctite, but It does involve buying more tools. I placed the appropriate sized tap in a vise, then threaded the knob onto the tap. I cut a few more threads inside the knob, untill it lined up correctly on the car.

Just to reply to some of the response:
Rick, I never recevied an email (work or home) on instructions for the knob. But it was no problem I went to your site and read the instructions on there.
03S2K, I'm assuming that if you get the shiftknob without the engraving, then you can crank down on it and tighten it good without threadlock because you won't have to worry about aligning the shift pattern.
PMantis24, thanks for the link for loctite.
Guedo512, I drove the car this morning to work. For now, I have the knob on the shifter hand tight and yeah the pattern is upside down but it never came loose from driving this morning.
Thanks.
