I love how everyone defends their own car.

The facts show that the rear end on the AP1 IS tricky and thus it's hard for the average driver to push the car hard. The AP2 tweaked out a lot of those issues with an engine that has more mid range torque but with a VTEC band that is shorter by over 500 rpms.

Most owners I've talked to who have owned both cars like the way the AP1 feels more "connected" to the road but the AP2 is easier to haul ass in while still feeling perfectly in control.

on the track the ap2 is faster, better suspension tuning and MORE tire. in a straight line, all bets are off... probably pretty even altho the GF took an ap2 one nite and that was with me in the car!!
