Rain again, again.
Fri evening...actually saw some sun this afternoon for awhile. Some clouds now. Looks like summer finally arrives with 90s next week. The area does have some flooded roads and there are flash flood warnings out until tomorrow morning. Nat'l Airport (where they usually measure such things for the immediate DC area) is 12 inches above normal for rain...whew!

My house is 114 yrs old, the basement is field stone and brick, when it rains like this water seeps through and we have puddles down there about 1/4 of an inch deep in spots. I deal with it though. I love old houses, that is one of their quirks.
Our streets aren't flooded yet.

Actually, my wife E.W.A. and I are city people. We spent a lot of years living in a downtown loft in Manhattan. If it weren't for the price of private school we'd probably still be there.
We were on the third floor of an old factory building. No flood worries on the third floor.
