Also on topic, today was REALLY REALLY hot!! - But a bit of a breeze so not so bad even with the top down. I'm not complaining...no way!

Vacation

Tomorrow morning, at about 8:00 A.M. E.W.A., Adam, Andrew and I are leaving for a weeks vacation in Las Vegas. Actually, it was so rainy during the spring that we just wanted to go to someplace hot and dry. We're staying on the Strip in New York, New York, but we've rented a car and are going to Death Valley, Hoover Dam and a Bus/Helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon. Should be a lot of fun. I hope the rental car is a Honda or Toyota, but I suspect it'll be something like a Buick of Oldsmobile.

Anyway, I doubt that I'll be able to get to a computer, (and E.W.A. has threatened my life if I do) so I'll "see" everyone in a week. I post some photos when I return. Keep posting the weather so that I can catch up when I get back.

If you have a favorite number post it here before 11:00 PM tonight. I'll play it for you and if we win, we split it.

 

Saturday 7/5/03 6:30PM. Sunny, clear, 85*F and moderate humidity. Gorgeous day spent pouring over the car, poking and prying into all the nooks and crannies with the owners manual. More of the same weather tomorrow, if it holds we'll be on the road exploring.

Have a great trip Rob. By the time you get back we'll be on the road. We leave a week from today for 3 weeks out west, generally following I-90 to roughly Yellowstone, hitting the parks and such along the way. We'll turn either left or right after Yellowstone, and eventually head back east. No itinerary, no daily "gotta be there" so it'll be quite relaxing.

The S will be parked in the garage, we're taking the big car this trip. We decided we want to take the S on shorter trips for awhile and gradually learn to live with it over longer and longer durations. Eventually we'll use it for our usual yearly 1-3 week road trips.
