Ohio -

You're too much!

I'll be gentle!

And yes, I'm leaving right now.

The drive isn't that bad. I live about 12 miles from work and it only takes me 45 min to get home.

Actually, I've got to make a pit stop at the store to pick up my daily 30-pack of so I'll be home in an hour, or so.

See you guys in a bit...

And staying in line with the topic... 4:58p.m. - 76 degrees

And the Angels won - only 10 games back from Seattle!

Daily 30-pack? That explains alot. . 12 miles in 45 minutes? I almost choked laughing. I can make 12 miles in 20 minutes on a slow day.

Sorry, I was "rounding". Soon you will be 46. Hoser. P.S. the cake idea is a classic.

Uh uh. I'm not even 45 and a half yet!

What's a hoser?

Are you sure you guys have S2000s? I can make 12 miles in 9 minutes, easy. We have no traffic in Acton. Or just about anything else.

Well I'm happy to hear that everyone has a short commute to work.

There are a lot of old people on my way to and from work, so it slows me down a bit.

I really need to show those 40-50 year olds how to drive!

Hoser = Dumbass / Fool / Numnut / Tool / Blocost / Dikfour

Any Questions - You can ask the young kid for the hip lingo...

Hehehe close but no cigar... I was hatched on August 31, 1951 so that puts me 53 days shy of 52. Dang, I guess that makes me the "Olde Phart" of the rain thread.

Speaking of which, Ohio, I have something better we can unleash on 4's house.

Talk about weapons of mass destruction!!! (So my long-suffering wife says...)

Now there's an idea... weather smilies I'm thinking some for most of the different weather conditions: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rain, downpour, thunderstorm, hail, tornado, ice, snow, blizzard, etc... Do them in a humorous manner like the rest of the ones here.

I've seen some people with a temperature thingie in their sig... I'll have to see where to find that.

It got all cloudy and drizzly here, so I parked the S in the garage and used Hilly's car for errands. It's about 60*F and breezy, but the weather gurus are swearing on stacks of used Playboys that it's gonna get better.

Hey! Put your flame suit on! I represent that remark! I'm 52, my daily driver is a company car (97 jeep cherokee) and never - never forget - "old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasum" For evidence I suggest watching "Fried Green Tomatoes" you know the part - where the 50ish southern lady smashes the hell out the young smartass girls car, because she has more insurance! Watch us "old farts" and remember where we are, you will, the lord willing go as well.

oh yeah - this is the weather thread - it's 9:29 PM - light rain and my car is soaking wet - I will do my weekend absolution by cleaning, waxing and detailing my poor sodden car -

LOL that made me think of raw cow chips for some reason...

Dicondra grass... that is a distinctly California form of vegetation. We had that and ivy in our front yard, I remember my dad watering it like crazy to keep it from dying.

Hoser is a Canadian term from a movie. It's old I guess...
