It dried out for about 2 hours. I wanted to wait till tomorrow to mow my lawn, but the forecast changes by the hour. So I went ahead and mowed my wet grass. Had to carve the chucks of grass off the mower when I was done. Thankfully I have one of those commercial mowers so it can take wet grass ok. I almost took a picture of my lawn to post here. Damn. It's lush, thick and green. Normally, on July 10th, even with an irrigation system, it is brown as the toast from 4's toasters. Not this year...for obvious reasons.

Sold out at both Home Depot and Lowes. Apparently, they've been cutting people down for the last 3 months. We need cthree to get us a rain emoticon.

4,

Your profile says that you "give people money". So...my guesses as to your career are as follows:

1) You buy lots of prostitutes
2) You're a multi-millionaire and you are very kind
3) You manage a philanthropic foundation and you decide which charity gets money
4) You're a loan officer at a bank or S&L and you decide which people are lucky enough to get bent over the table by your bank.

My guess is #4. Am I right?

Impressive...

I used to be a loan officer, but now work in corporate mortgage programs... so I tell large companies if they're lucky enough to get "back-doored" w/o the KY!

Interested?

And that #1 guess only happend once! But the wife doesn't need to know about that...

I'm ONLY 45 you old 47 year-old codger, you.

I guess I won't tell Mr. Ohio Racer about our drought here 'cuz I don't like gore and I do want to keep my larynx. Did you have fun with your grass chunks? It reminds me of the time I made my brother a "cake" out of flour, water and dicondra grass. Then I frosted it with pink noxema. When he cut into it and saw it was grass I told him it was grass but that the frosting was real. I was mean.

4, Isn't it time for you to be leaving work. You know, pull onto the freeway at 5:05PM and get home at 9:24PM?
