I didn't park my car properly today and found it resting on my garage door a few minutes later. Needless to say, it got a unsightly mark on the rear bumper. Do we have a plastic (or fiberglass ?) bumper (MY04)? Will I rust out the bumper few years down the road if I don't fix it? Thanks.

Its plastic, i had a minor accident, a friend rolling into my car at 1 mph. And i jsut had the spot touched up. Rust is not a problem the bumper is plastic.

 

as others have stated... its plastic... just cover it up with some touch up and be prepared to get plenty more of those!
