I was at the Honda dealer waiting for my oil change to get done (7500 mile service), and I noticed a couple of 2002 S2000s on the floor and decided to check them out. Lo, I finally find out that they put in a glass rear window on the new model! Yes, I'm slow and haven't been keeping up.

Damn, I'm jealous.

Is there anything previous MY owners can do to put a glass rear window in? I talked to the Parts guy who called American Honda, and he said no, short of installing a whole new roof (Parts cost alone being 1200 bucks, minimum).

Are there any aftermarket kits available for this?


Other random note on the new model:
The leather wrap on the shifter is gross.

Duck was a reference to the onslaughts of "do a search!" that a few (not many) members like to throw at unsuspecting newbies. Didn't happen to you
