guys, i am new here, and just bought a s2k. thinking about lowering it, which spring should i go with, and do i need aftermarket shock (gas shock) too, if so what kind?

what about eibach spring?
how is the ride?

 

eibachs should be pretty close to stock feel... there has been much discussion as to whether you need to change the shocks when you change the springs- some think that new springs will weaken the shocks.

I just installed the eibachs with the stock shocks.... BTW, I took my first trip to the mountains for some twisties on the new springs and the ride was awesome and I didn't scrub one time....
