remove the soft top and run a hard top only...?

The top and the two tiny motors actually weigh less than 70 lbs. I know three people here that removed their softtop. Putting it back in is 10 times harder than taking it out. Just imagine that.

I remember reading a post last year that showed pictures of how to remove the ragtop. He had to grind off some rivets to remove the motor brackets. I can't seem to find the post on the search engine.

Does leaving the top folded for extended extended periods of time for use with a hardtop pose any harm besides wrinkles?

I havn't noticed any problems with wrinkles,however if there is any I'm sure putting the top up with the sun out to heat it up will make it look like new.

interesting ? I've used the soft top in sub zero conditions for years without any issues.. proper maintenance I guess ? there are many though I'm sure who go Hard top all year round, but why ? it's a roadster after all ?
