Folks - I'd appreciate some your opinions on replacing the glass on the passenger side of the car. How likely do you think it is that the local Honda dealer can do this without mucking up the fit - especially the seal at the top ??

I'm looking at having this done as a warranty item - the dealer that did the VIN etching (no I did not pay for that) mucked some of the acid onto the window and left it with some small blotches etched into it. You can clearly see a straight line where they had the area around the VIN number masked out - and then right above that you see the blotches.

I'm pretty anal about imperfections like this so would like to get it replaced, but am also pretty worried about the window leaking.

Thoughts ??

 

Just ask the dealership who will be doing the job and what kind of experience they have.
