Window regulator issue
I broke the passenger window on my 2002 S2000. When I have a local window repair company fix it, they told me they replaced the glass, but the window regulator cables were damaged and the window will not function until it the regulator was replaced. They told me they don't replace regualtors, the dealer needs to do it. Anybody else ever have this situation occur?
I'm a bit lost on how that could happen as well.
You can do the regulator yourself if you get the part from your dealer or you could get it cheaper from hardtopguy (board sponsor). MSRP on the regualtor is $236.25. I know you can get it under $177 from hardtopguy.

I was told the cables and wheels are exposed to save weight. They were damaged when I unwittingly lowered the top to clean up the glass then raised the window up. Pieces of broken glass got in the mechanism and tore it up. I found a dealer on the Internet that sells a new genuine Honda part for under $140.00 plus shipping.
Does anyone have a shop manual they can scan the pages for this repair and E-Mail to me?
