Can anybody with a hardtop post a picture of what their S looks like with the hardtop off. I would like to see the installation kit and what the difference is between havinf/not having the kit.

There's no visual difference with the hardtop off. The kit is hidden.

I have a hardtop and the only visual differences are as follows:

There are holes for the hardtop locking pins just aft of the door opening (where that brushy stuff is).

On the driver's side, there is an electrical connector for the rear window defroster just under the front edge of the soft top support hinge.

In the cockpit, the "change holder" behind the cup holder/ashtray has a button installed for the rear window defroster.

Without knowing where to look, most people would notice no difference between a soft top only and a hardtop equiped car.
