Love this idea. Will have to put this on my list of mods for the s2k when I take ownership in a couple of months.

I've always loved your products Rick and have followed this board over the years!

Love it!

All well and good, but that screen is about a third of the size of the Garmin screen. Just triple the size and imagine how far it would be sticking out.

The wiring is actually the easy part. The pillar piece snaps out and there's enough room for lots of cabling under there.
Maybe 1/3 the size of the Garmin screens you are considering, but I am talking about the Garmin c320 that can fit in the cupholder.

The current plan is to get it done in ABS of something like it. Rick's was hand made and the Co doing the work took just under 1 year to complete it, and at that, Rick had to finish the part himself.

Just to add:
New Garmin Nuvi is even smaller and slimmer I think...

I'm all over this if the V1 mounting is an option. I'll be more than happy to get rid of the useless visors.

The visors are useless, but the car sorta looks wierd without them. Sorta like looking at someone without eyebrows.

Rick: I really like this product. The S2000 comes with no Nav option in the US, but the location you devised makes this BETTER than a factory Nav system would have been! From what I've read about it, I also really dig the Garmin 2730. I might very well consider this in about 6-8 months.
