whatever position it's in when i get home, i usually just leave it that way. I use the boot, so i think it's just more of me being lazy and not bothering taking it off. I cheat though, I put the hardtop on when the high temps get into the 40s. Regular car wash soap to clean it and i spray 303 on it once a month in the summer, still looks like new.
