S2000 1/4 mile times?
Does anyone know the stock quarter mile time of a 2001? I recently joined the S2000 owners club and I have no clue what kind of times this baby turns. The 01's have the 9000 redline and the 2.0 motor. Any info would be appreciated!
I know it's not good for the backend launching as hard as it requires . . . is it the kinda thing that tracking it a few times a month would break or is it the kinda thing even teh occasional hard launch on the street is going to wear it in?
Also . . . what kinda mods would it take to put her into the 13's without requiring such a perfect launch? Gain .3,.5,.7, etc?
Regardless to Volcom (original poster) dont forget the true strong point of this car is in the turns
congrats

This car is close ot maxed out and doesn'treact to mods very well. GO s/c or turbo for gains. Use search this has been asked many times and a variety of answers.
Remember its not a 1/4 mile car.
Times are eveywhere since the driver skill makes up this car unlike 350z etc. High 13s if your good low 14s if your average and if you suck well say hello to mid and high 14s.
Best time I belive stock was 13.5 I belive.
If I ever race I do it from a roll. Baby her way to much
