I was considering the Z before I purchased my S. Then I woke up after I noticed that big 'ol ugly butt on the Z. The S has a sleek classic line to it, not to mention it is a pure sports car in truest sense.

Both are great cars overall no doubt. Each has greater characteristics in diff. departments no doubt. But personally, Z looks a bit like a big slug to me. Even if the Z was much faster, I'd still go for the S. Lucky for us, it isn't! The S is more of a unique driving experience. I do like the G35 coupe though

 

I own an 2001 S but I just test drove the new Z convertible. I was curious with all the hype but i still love my S. The Z is fun to drive but the back is appauling ugly. Drive them both and see for yourself. I here that they are going to come out with a G35 convertible soon. That might be worth a look.

How can anyone possibly answer this question for you? You really need to decide for yourself.

Also, the two worst places to look are the boards for S2000 owners/enthusiasts and 350Z owners/enthusiasts. What would you expect either to say?
