One day old and you chose to resurrect this thread? Half of these people are dead or in jail.

all i can say is that i have owned about 25 cars in my driving time...so far...and at this time i own 5. some of the cars were purchased new and some used and some had warranties from 12 months to 48 months.

i can rank my 4 years with the s2000 as amoung the top two owned cars trouble free since i got it. durring my warranty, 36 months, i had not returned to the dealer for anything/anytime. other than normal maintenance i have yet to spend money on anything that has broken by defect or worn out in an untimely manner. i have original battery and brakes at 31,000 miles and 4 years.

i have had lemons, really bad cars that needed clutches, engines, seats , trannies, brakes, gas tanks, etc...all defective. i have also owned 4 honda/acura products, all in the top 5 as well of ownership.

i would recommend a honda/acura to most anyone who wanted a superior car owneship experience. I also want to add that every carnut should own a porsche once in their lives as well if they can.

I've owned lots of cars and the S2000 is one of the best...considering "HOW" I drive and the fact that it's a "specialty" car (compared to the likes of an Accord or a Civic).

My S2000 currently has 115k miles and (knock on wood), no issues. I can probably FILL this thread with a list of ISSUES I'd have if this were a domestic vehicle!!

I had three speakers replaced a few months ago. Other then that, no complaints in 2 years and 13000 miles.

The S2000 is not completely hand built, however, it is built more by hand than any other production series automobile.

Honestly, there are just some things that a human hand could never do and that's where those robots come in!
I'm pretty certain the RX8 is also hand built.
