S2000
I believe S2000s weren't expensive to insure in the years past as they were out of the price range for certain demographics. Now a days, that is not the case and most people will find the insurance going up between a few $s to many $s. I pay around $60 a month on my S, $720 a year. That includes discounts for : multi car (3), multi line (a house as well insured through them) and safe driver. The insurance is full coverage on all sides and I was willing to have a slightly higher premium for a lower deductible.
The insurance on my RSX Type S was nearly double that a few years ago.

In my celica with one accident (that's finally dropping off this year after waiting 3 years) and an illegal u-turn I was paying 1,000 every 6 months. Now it's up to $1,250 in the S. I'm on my own policy with only the s.
I should add that I'm only 21 so I don't have the decrease in insurance from being an old fart yet.

If the agent has the VIN there can't be a mix up.
Every 6 months I pay about 900... don't get me started on my driving record. Haha...
