Well, it kinda is your fault... did you admit to them that you were dumping the clutch at 8000rpm? And 8000rpm is pretty high for a clutch dump. And do you realize that you only had 700+ miles on the car? I mean, I thought the clutch wasn't even really broken in til 1000+ miles.

I tried dumping my clutch at 6500rpm once when it only had 900 miles. The clutch did nothing but slip. I thought I read on this board it was because the clutch wasn't fully broken in yet and ready for high rpm dump/launches.

 

Shit man.....and not only did you mess up your clutch....but ummm....what about breakin in your engine?? i am pretty sure you screwed that over too....damn....i would have treated my S2K better than that....so to hear about all the problems.....but you didnt bring it upon yourself....

 

Why is it going to take 2 weeks. My car is still sitting in orlando for the tranny rebuild..the parts will be in tuesday..and they said it only taks them two days to rebuild it. So i should have my car on thurs or friday

 

So what is the status of the clutch? Is it repaired by Honda? Did you have to pay out of pocket? How does the car drive now?

 

If you don't mind me asking, how much for the windshield?
