S2000 discussion on Car and Driver board.
You're probably right about me driving the S like it was the Vette and am therefore never getting into the powerband. I've only put 830 miles on it so far. I drove it a bit higher revving last night and I'm really beginning to dig it. But the fact is that you have to be pretty purposeful about going fast in the S. I am interested in getting the S's superior gas mileage and you kind of have to drive it like a Civic to get that kind of mileage out of it.
Don't get me wrong, I love my new car. I just want to say that the old iron has something to be said for it as well. Also, for those that don't think a Vette can handle; it can. It'll be a while before I have the S handling as well as my Vette. Of course I raced my Vette for about a year before I had it the way I liked it. I'm planning on a faster learning curve with the S.
Robin.

I had some time to kill so I put that Torque document above in PDF format. I took the liberty to format it a little. I hope the original author doesn't mind.
Anyway get it here: Torque - A Primer
