Molested is a hard term to define. Mine has lots and lots and lots of modifications- but they were so well thought out that I was clearly impressed with it. So impressed that I've been struggling how to make it my own

I'm speaking more of general neglect. I'm mod friendly. In fact I like getting the mods sometimes so I can sell some to replace them with the ones I want.

I purchased my 01 with 100k miles on it for 9k. unfortunately it did have wavy quarterpanels and crappy seats. i did replace the seats super cheap but the panels are still there =/ it upsets me seeing it. i wish i would have waited a few months and saved up more money but I truly do love the car and it was a great deal for what it is.

the dealer across the street from me had an 02 red one with like 70k miles. They wanted like 19k for it LOL. They had just resprayed the front bumper, lip, (for rock chip purposes only but still) and apparently replaced the engine (knew all of this from insider information). salesman stated it had none of this done and it was in "storage at another lot" while this was going on and actually being fixed by my friends neighbor for them. Can't even trust anything these days

after searching for 3 months I finally found mine an '06 with 26k and i spent 21k. Every day I was looking on craigslist autotrader and every other possible add place and finally i found one with in 100 miles from me. the search was exhausting but I was holding out for my perfect one.

Keep your head up there will be one but you may have to pay a little more then 15k

Things are starting to look up. I have 3 more to look at this week and then one in TX as a backup plan if these 3 are in crappy condition.

Frustrating. Although there are WAY fewer USDM Integra Type Rs out there, it's the same problem searching for one of those. As S2Ks have become more affordable, more idiotic and immature things are being done to them. It's a shame. We'll have to buy them up and restore them one day.

A specific example of this is Cars and Coffee in Jacksonville, FL that my Dad and I went to last week. We're walking around and notice a few S2Ks. There was a Berlina with the front lip literally a millimeter off the ground (maybe it had air suspension, I don't know). There was a Silverstone that was as low as any I've ever seen. It was on stock wheels, but both front fenders were absolutely destroyed. Both times, my Dad, who is in his mid 50s, got a negative look on his face and goes "that is absolutely stupid, why would anyone ruin a beautiful car like that?" At 30 now, I feel the same. Heck, I even felt the same when I bought my car at 24. It's embarrassing to the S2K community what's being done to some of the cars... it's just asinine in some cases.

Do some mild mods to your S2K, or even more extensive mods if you want. But keep all the stock parts, and take care of the car. Geez.

Oh, and good luck with your search! You'll find what you want soon.

Took me nearly a year to find one. And I will be honest... it isn't perfect but it is damn near the closest I have seen. That is why I got it.

I'm also having a hard time finding S2000 Ap2 here in my place. I always find S2000 but they are not in good condition and when I summed up the cost it is more costly. I just hope that I can also find a good deal like bboarder711's. Hopefully you'll also be able to find one. By the way, this discount might still be helpful for you. If you use discount code "super20" at the checkout on www.torontohondaparts.com you can save 20% on your purchases. I have just heard about it from my friend and he was able t take advantage of it.

OK, I got lucky and with all of my alerts I set up I was first to see a new one that popped up in Craigslist less than 20 miles away from me. 2 owners, 1st for all but last 12 months and was engineer for GE. 2nd/current owned an emissions station and even did the emissions for me for free before I left. I went $500 over my budget ($15,500 for 04, 89k miles) but the car came with K&N FIPK, Berk HFC, Pearl Voodoo knob, etc... plus all stock parts and a new painted OEM rear wing in box, 6 Honda oil filters and crush washers, extra K&N filter with real carbon fiber endcap, so I think I got a reasonable deal. Interior is lightyears better than the other 6 I looked at. Exterior is great except front bumper shows highway wear and rear bumper has a scuff that has been touched up. There are a couple of tiny chips here and there but by and large it is very well maintained compared to many that I saw.
