No problem with long trips. You will enjoy each mile. Simply stop and relax every 2-3 hours...

Thanks for everyone's comments. One last thing, someone mentioned a bra for the trip (for the car of course)--where's a good place to look for one? What should I expect to pay?

Thanks,
Jason.

Last thanksgiving, I put almost 2k miles on the S2000 visiting family, all on the highway. At speeds in the 80s my average mileage was about 26-27mpg. I have an MP3 player and amp/speakers, so road/wind noise isn't an issue if you don't want it to be. My longest driving day was almost 12 hours, and the seats were better than any of the other cars I've traveled in, absolutely no numbness in the posterior region.

The biggest consideration is packing intelligently. Obviously, there's a limit to how much luggage you can take, but if you plan for it and pack smart, it shouldn't be a problem.

Definitely get the bra, I bought a colgan bra from another member for about $100 just before my trip. It does an excellent job of keeping the bugs and rocks off the front end, and I only use it when traveling.

I live in Corvallis (OSU) and drive back to Portland every weekend. The hour and a half drive is almost unbearable on my back. The seats dont have very much support. Yes I know this is a sports car but the seats are still pretty stiff....

last weekend i took my 2003 s2000 from boston to my parents house in Rochester ny....Thats about 400 miles and 5-6 hours and it was great...i had a blast. Dropped the top for most of it and outside of some obnoxious youths from new jersey mooning me, things were smooth

Went from Houston to Atlanta and back over Spring Break. I plan on doing it again as soon as I get the chance. This car didn't fatigue me at all like my Accord does.
